Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant (LREBG) Expenditure Reports: 2022-23, and 2023-24

The LREBG was established in response to the emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to assist schools serving pupils in the long-term recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, including addressing pupil learning, mental health, and overall well-being. The LREBG allocates money to schools beginning in fiscal year 2022–23 through 2027–28.

Proposition 28—Arts and Music in Schools (AMS) Funding (Annual Reports: 2024-25)

On November 8, 2022, California voters approved Proposition 28: The Arts and Music in Schools (AMS) Funding Guarantee and Accountability Act. The measure required the state to establish a new, ongoing program supporting arts instruction in schools beginning in 2023–24.

A-G COMPLETION IMPROVEMENT GRANT PLAN English | Spanish

A–G Completion Improvement Grant Program funds are apportioned to local educational agencies (LEAs) for the purpose of providing additional supports to LEAs to help increase the number of California high school pupils, particularly unduplicated pupils, who graduate from high school with A–G eligibility requirements completed for admission to the California State University and the University of California.

Educator Effectiveness Fund Spending Plan English | Spanish

Educator Effectiveness funds may be used to support the professional learning for certificated teachers, administrators, paraprofessional educators, and certificated staff.

Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant Plan English | Spanish

The Expanded Learning Opportunities (ELO) Grant provides local educational agencies (LEAs) the opportunity to provide supplemental instruction and support to students, including those identified as needing academic, social-emotional, and other supports, including the provision of meals and snacks.

Arts, Music, Instructional Materials (AMIM) Discretionary Block Grant Spending Plan   English | Spanish
The AMIM Block Grant is used to invest in priority projects that will enhance teaching, learning and school culture, such as: (1) obtaining standards-aligned professional development and instructional materials for specified subject areas; (2) obtaining professional development and instructional materials for improving school climate; (3) developing diverse, culturally relevant and multilingual school library book collections; (4) operational costs, including retirement and health care cost increases; and (5) COVID-19-related costs necessary to keep pupils and staff safe and schools open for in-person instruction.
